Back to San Jose

(Sorry if spelling is bad, spell checker looks to be down)
We ended up going to Manuel Antonio national park, was worth the $10 per person. Unfortunately my camera's two batteries died. It had the best beach I have seen on the trip and some of the funnest animals. From howler monkeys to back pack stealing racoons this place is definitely a must see.

At the park a family of deer was there, got a picture before camera died.

The main part of Manuel Antonio Beach packed with tourist, cocunut and pot (ceramics) venders, drug dealers, and animals.

This picture was taken twoards the national park beaches.

Main beach.

If you can see it, a sloth.

Picture taken from a restaurant called the avion

A crashed plane they made into a restaurant, we saw sloths and monkeys here.
This is the backpackers hostel, kind of dirty but they had a Tarzan swing

this sucks

These lizards are everywhere.

This waterfall was on our atv tour.

Last night me and david where walking on the streets at about 11pm and got chased down by transvestite hookers. When we finally got away I noticed I was missing my wallet. Either the hookers managed to pit pocket me and I didn't notice when me and david where running so our "boys" weren't fondled by boys...

But either way I managed to get a international phone and called my bank and locked the card.

The atv trip was fun, it was extremely wet and foggy. WAY too long and towards the end david got bored and ate shit doing a donut... on a main road. The tour guide was like how the hell did that happen. It was awesome that nothing broke.

Jaco

This is the local dog, Clarita, she stays at the hotel and actually sleeps right in front of our door. Isn't that just the sadest face you have ever seen.

This is Clarita's bar and grill and hotel, room rates now are $45 but in peak season are roughly $75 or more. Hot girls, nice beach, beers, and tons of drunk people. (driving drunk is ok here which is like even worse because the driving sucked already.) I actually got to drive a huge expedition of a old guy name Red Dawg...while drunk. I manage to only hit about 2 people. Luckily, at night only hookers and druggies run the street.

My and David decided while we are in Jaco to take some native stripper lessons, David was 10x more natural then i was.

Some random rocks left to the main beach was a good walk. These rocks are literally covered in little jumping crabs.

This was actually a vertical hill, hence the first shots with me and David hanging on the trees. The slope is roughly 60 degrees.

Oh and last but not least, Jaco is mainly about old guys getting young hookers from 30$ - 300$, and drug dealers. The drug dealers wouldn't let me take pictures of them.

Well, David and I bought tickets home, we will be back on the 10 or 15 I forgot.
Tomorrow we will be taking some ATVs out and the following day a canopy tour which is highly recommended. This hotels Internet has been down pretty much for a few days so I can't update the blog. Jaco is a very fun place, we have had 1 really bad thing happen here only.
This one ass decided to make friend with us on the bus from San Jose to Jaco, from Cali. Told us all the cool places to hang out first and all that good stuff. Drank a ton of beers and ended convincing us to take and ATV and jetski tour for $60 a head. we gave him 120 because he said he had to call his driver put the deposit down and get us the ATV to drop off at Clarita's. We where drunk and trusted the guy because its a friendly place.
Well, the next morning we woke up bought 3 shots of tequila and 5 beers and was never heard of again.
(lucky today, he talked to one of the local old retired guys here [with a 18 year old hot ass girlfriend] and we may be getting our money back tomorrow)
Wait tell you hear the stories of Red Dog and Dick Tanner... Both professional fisherman and both cool as hell drunks.

Last day in san Jose

The Guesthouse we are staying at is a pretty nice place. The area however is abosulte crap. We are about 2 blocks from the main shopping street. Note, if you come to San Jose get ready to be disgusted, trash on the streets everywhere and toilets can't take toilet paper...therefore they have a poopy paper bin.

Two nights ago was pretty fun however, David and I went to a bar on the main downtown area and talked with some locals, very slowley. They ended up taking us to a Kareokee bar and a dance club which where connected. We stayed out to about 3 A.M and on the way home SOOOO MANY FREAKING PROSITUTES! Every corener probably had like 5 on each corner.

We didn't take any pictures here since this place isn't pretty and it isn't safe.

We already had one dumbass charge us saying "Whats your fucking problem" over and over, we were about to drop the tard when he got closer to us he was like "No fucking problem" and he ended up just wanting money. We gave him nothing. Kinda set the stay here in a bad mood.

Some pictures

So this is the monte compana place we first arrived to, it is alright. The staff is freaking awesome though, only two speak ok english. We stayed there four night, it was like 35 $ a night. Now the downside was that this place was out in the middle of nowhere and no bars...or senoritas
The first night we tried getting 2 beers and it was probably one of the most embarrassing moments of my life with all the dumb looks on peoples faces...it could be worse i suppose.
They had a bad ass pull with a stone slide, we have a video of that I will have to update later.

To get there we had to take a long ass walk, probably about half a mile to a mile, which would be from the bus stop/drug store/bar area.
The streets where freaking horrific, i mean no side walks buses that where hauling ass and pushing cars off the road...the police don't give a shit man! The hotel guy said that people even drive drunk which is mind boggling, i bet their drunk drivers are better then ours.
Poor dogs and horses just like kick it in the street... you know there as to be some kinda road kill. Surprisingly we saw only like 1 dead mongoose or something
This was a dog we found on the street all the times on our walks home, I call him, perro..he hated david, loved me though! to bad he had like tics and nasty worms on him otherwise i might have touched him.

Usually the weather was foggy/rainy. It is not what I expected at first. I was thinking very humid and hot place, why else run around in a loin cloth like the movies... The weather is actually hot when sun is out and with no wind. The humidity is not bad at all and actually feels rather good.
The one thing that usually got my attention was the smell, it smells like celery walking around here.
Though when sleeping, a dusk of wind usually carried the aroma of nasty ass mold. After one night was gagging at the though and finally decided to close the window.
The food is so so, the first dinner we ate was the chicken dish (it was between chicken or fish) and it came with rice and beans, which a lot of plates do here. There is some kind of what I think banana that is covered in what taste like a mc donald apple critter or whatever the hell they are. I am already sick of them, they have been on every dish.

We had to walk home at night a few times from coming back from Mirridia, we took the bus each time, and long behold a little demon waiting for us each time...
That little fucker would follow us down the ENTIRE WALL!!! and bring his dang puppies with him. Cute at first, but man at night, we did not want any attention.

Freaking dog.

This is a huge ass spider nest, we didn't want to kill them at first, but after two nights one of the eggs hatched and like thousands of them where running around. So i genocided them later when I got there since my bed was next to the door.

These are costa rican horses....crazy eh?

These two pictures where me trying to get the night lights but realise cameras need certain settings to function properly.

But so far so good, we are about to wander and find a bar in San Jose now.

In Costa rica

We made it to costa rica, late reply but the hotel we are staying at has no internet. So we take a bus that is roughly 700 colones for 2 to heredia which is about 15-20 minutes away.

It is kind of a secluded place so like 2 people we have met actually speak english...its a bitch.

We tried ordering one beer and to figure out the cost took me like 5 minutes with the bartender looking at me like a dumbass. He was happy with us after we tipped him though. We are at monter campano in birri.

Tomorrow we will be going to san jose and staying at hostel.

We also met two canadians who spoke english and teach english, they had some good advice alongs the lines of security.

But all is well, I will upload pictures soon and probably will have a video blog of random crap.

If anyone is worried, we wont get mugged by one or two or even 3 people because we are pretty much giants here.

Packed and ready

Plane leaves at 7 something...flying to Vegas first then Charlotte, and then San jose Costa Rica!

Don't get why I have to fly to vegas first...ot charlotte but cheap tickets.

I'll update with pictures tomorrow night.

We get in San Jose at 1:30 PM on the 23. Then look for a place to stay, after that we find something fun to do. Like getting robbed at gun point or drunken brawl with the locals.
